Description

Murder mystery pulp magazine: "The Hangover Murders", by Adam Hobhouse, published as #118 of Mercury Mystery digest in 1935.

A relatively obscure title, which was adapted into the Hollywood film "Do You Remember Last Night?" (the word "hangover" was considered to be unsuitable according to the Production Code that was in place in 1935) starring Edward Arnold and Robert Young ("Father Knows Best"'s Dad).

This antique pulp is complete and in tight condition, spine is not cracked, no loose pages, no tears or folded pages. The page edges are lightly tanned, no writing, two scrapes on the spine (see images), but otherwise, remarkably well preserved!

Will ship carefully packaged and fully insured.

FAQs

In most cases, I can offer combined shipping discounts on multiple items.

You do not need to do anything. Place your order for your items, and when I am fulfilling your order, I will credit back excess shipping fees to your account.
If an item gets stalled in transit, let me know. I can open a case with USPS to track it down. Please allow 2 weeks for me to work with USPS to locate your package.

If a package is marked "Delivered" but you did not get it, let me know. I will call your P.O. to speak with the carrier directly or have them check the GPS scan on the package. If theft is suspected, I will ask you to file a Stolen Mail Claim with the U.S. Postal Inspection Service and your local law enforcement. These records are essential to help catch mail thieves.

If an item arrives damaged, hold on to all packing materials. I require photographs of the damaged item and the packing materials to refund. I may ask that the item be returned to me at my expense.
If you notice the error prior to receiving the shipping notice, let me know ASAP.

Unfortunately, once a package is shipped out to an incorrect address, there is little I can do to get it back.

Please make sure your address within Etsy is correct before finalizing your order.
Art & Prints:

To request a return, please contact me within 7 days of delivery. Late requests may be declined.

The item must be returned to me in the same condition as when we sent it - I.E - "as new", salable condition - for a refund. Return shipping at buyers expense.

Refunds will be credited upon our receipt of the item.

I recommend that you purchase tracking and insurance for the return package, as items lost during return shipping not insured are sadly: lost.

Refunds are for the item price only.

As per our policies page, we are diligent about our descriptions, and in more than 7 years on Etsy, have never had a return.
