I've always been fascinated by the Georgian "Lover’s Eye" paintings from the 18th and 19th centuries...beautiful, mysterious, finely detailed miniatures of that secret someone. Recreating this lost art has been an interesting challenge, but one I have truly enjoyed.

Using your photographs, I will paint your custom Lover's Eye in watercolor on acid free paper. This listing is for the painting only, no locket is included. Use your own special jewelry or frame to make a pendant, or unique curio.

Please allow one week from when I receive your photos (you can email/text them, or send them via the post office) for your eye to be created. The painting is approximately 1 inch by 1 inch, but I can make it a bit smaller if desired. Convo me prior to purchase to make sure I can accommodate your request.

Your finished eye will be securely packaged and shipped flat.

I am blown away by the beauty of this tiny piece. Constance is a true artist, her attention to detail is awe inspiring!
