Description

An original handpulled linocut print of a cycling scene that is a common sight in Holland, Denmark and other cycle cities of the world. A couple riding along together on a bike. The lady sits on the rear rack! They hold hands, however fleeting. This is an ideal gift for your Valentine.

I wrote this Haiku (17 syllable poem 5-7-5) to describe the moment.

The air rushes by,
Chain whirrs, tyres hum as wheels spin
A touch reassures

Black Caligo safewash ink has been applied to Somerset or Cansons 300gsm paper to produce the image. This is an open and varied edition. The printed area measures 15x15cm on paper size 20x25cm, which provides a range of options for trimming to suit various mount and frame sizes. It's shown mounted ready to put into a 24x30cm (A4) frame.

The print is sold without mount or frame, you will not necessarily receive the print shown. Each print is signed and bears the title 'Together'.

I am offering this print in red or black, with or without lettering and with or without hearts. Please select the option when ordering. This version with lettering will be signed on the back.
