Ball Brothers of Muncie, Indiana stopped making blue jars in 1937, so your jar will be at least 73 years old.

Originally for canning garden produce, this jar has seen decades of hard use. Now it can be admired for its beauty and practicality, sitting proudly on your counter top.

A reproduction zinc lid completes the vintage look. If you would rather have an original zinc lid, just ask and we'll switch it for free. A reproduction lid stays cleaner and lasts longer than an original zinc lid and is our choice for all our soap dispensers.

We have more! Contact us or check here:

Dispense shampoo, liquid soap, conditioner, lotion, or hand sanitizer (and other things I can't think of right now :)

9 inches tall
holds 4 cups (32 ounces) of liquid

If you are a Ball jar connoisseur and would like a particular logo, just ask. Otherwise, the logo (1914-1937) will be our choice.

This jar comes with a white pump, but if you would like a black or tan pump, just let us know at checkout. The last photo shows pint jars, not quarts. You will be getting a quart like you see in the first picture.

Some Blue Jar History...

Ball Brothers of Muncie, Indiana made this shape and color of jar from 1914-1937. The color came from minerals in the Lake Michigan sand and the oxygen content of the furnace. No one has been able to reproduce Ball's blue color after 1937--not even Ball themselves! They revived the blue jars (sometimes called "green") in 1975-76 for the US Bicentennial, but even that blue is not quite the same.
