PATTERN DETAILS: Lightweight mohair blend cardigan uses sport weight yarn and largish needles. Worked in a stripe pattern using three types of yarn with buttoned front.
Sizes: Directions are for size Small (6-8); changes for size Medium (10-12) and size Large (14-16) follow in parentheses.
Finished Bust: 40” (43”-45 ½”)
Materials:
Sport weight tweed mohair blend yarn (50-gr skeins): 11 (12-13) in gray (A)
Bulky weight mohair blend yarn (50-gr skeins): 3 (3-3) in ecru (B)
Sport weight mohair blend yarn (50-gr skeins): 2 (2-2) in black (C)
Knitting needles sizes 9 and 10 ½, or size to obtain gauge
6 large buttons
Gauge: With larger needles over stripe pat: 11 sts = 4”; 18 rows = 4”. With smaller needles over st st, 13 sts = 4”; 17 rows = 4”

I LOVE this pattern! Well worth the price! This is a very easy instruction and the project goes quickly. I loved the granny square vests back in the 70s and I wanted to have some in different colors to wear through the winter so I started making them out of scrap yarn. The only suggestion I would make is to learn how to slip stitch over to the corner before making the next row. It does not include this vital step, however, I learned that process on YouTube just a week ago and now my squares are going beautifully! I was half-finished in a day and can't wait to finish and try it on. A good beginner/intermediate pattern.
