This hand pulled print was part of an exchange based on the theme typography. I chose to base my print on the Ampersand because I like its history. Until the late 1800's it was referred to as the 27th letter of the alphabet, and supposedly got its name from the recitation of the alphabet - x, y, z et per se and.

The print was created using 6 linoleum blocks and was in an edition of 50. The print pictured has been sold but the one you receive is close. The image size is approximately 5" x 7.5" with a surrounding border for matting. It is printed on tissue thin handmade Japanese Sekishu paper with water based Akua Kolor inks.

It will be shipped Priority Mail with plenty of protection to ensure its safe arrival.
