Honi Honi means to kiss in Hawaiian.

The way that the Hawaiians used to (some still do) greet each other is by standing face to face with your forehead touching the other person's and inhaling their breath or their Ha. This is their earliest version of a kiss and this is my interpretation.

*perfect for bridesmaids & flower girls @ simple beach themed wedding

Two puka shells facing each other on a natural colored leather cord with a metal clasp. All the pukas were found here in Hawaii (mostly @ Polihale Beach on Kauai). I usually make these necklaces 17" long but leave me a note in the message to seller if you need a different length. This is a great gift for men, women and kids!

***Please note that these necklaces are made to order and this listing is for a Honi Honi necklace on natural colored leather. The shells you get will be different from the ones in the photo, but they are each unique all hand picked in Hawaii by me. I will have your necklace made within 2-3 days and shipped ASAP. Please convo me with any questions. ***

Much Aloha♥
