The Orient used to a be a far away, exotic place for Europeans. The Willow pattern was a British invention. For fun and fantasy, I brought some Brooklyn flavor to the Anglo-Chinese mix. The obligatory water tower and Manhattan Bridge - the direct link to Chinatown in Brooklyn. Globalisation on a plate.

Porcelain slip on stoneware (poor man's porcelain) with custom embossed designs. The pattern is a traditional Chinese transfer print technique. High fire to cone 6 - 1228° C [2200° F] in an electric kiln.

There is a matching 9" pasta bowl and a 11" dinner plate in this design as well.

Platter measures 12" W x 8" H x 0.75" D

No problem in dishwasher or reheating gently in the microwave.

If this is for a gift, I can enclose a special gift card and send directly to the recipient.

I will try to combine shipping and refund the differences. Please feel free to contact me for any questions. Thanks!
