Large Rookwood Pottery Jardiniere, Vase, Arts & Crafts Era, Circa 1914, Antique Art Pottery

Description

An unusually large jardiniere or vase from Rookwood Pottery in pastel yellow and green. It features a wonderful arts and crafts raise leaf and flower design. The way the colors work together is amazing! The bottom of the jardiniere is marked with the Rookwood symbol, the number "1811," and XIV indicating the year of its making, 1914.

Dimensions: The vase stands almost 5 3/4 inches tall and almost 7 inches at its widest point. It is one of the larger Rookwood production pieces that I've found.

Condition: Excellent--no chips or cracks and very clean. The bottom of the piece has some glaze and color anomalies. It is possible that this indicates a repair; however, the area is completely smooth to the touch. Additionally, there is some mild, age-appropriate crazing. If you would like additional photos of this beautiful Rookwood piece, please convo me.

Shipping: Flat-rate shipping within the U. S. is $12.00

Please contact me as soon as you notice a problem so that it may be resolved in a positive and timely manner. Prior to purchasing, buyers are urged to examine all photos carefully and contact me with any questions they have regarding the item.

In the unlikely event that an item arrives broken, I will issue a full refund, including the shipping cost, immediately upon receipt of photos of the item.

Shipping policies

Items are packed extremely carefully using recycled or new materials that are very clean.

Shipping rates quoted are for the U.S. only. Due to the fragile nature and heavy weight of most of my items, I cannot ship to international locations.

Shipping rates represent a flat rate and you will never pay more than the amount in the listing. In the event that the specified rate ends up being $3.00 or more over the actual price to ship, I will credit your account.

Combined Shipping: Because of the fragility of vintage pottery, putting two pots in the same package is usually not practical. However, when it can be done safely, I will combine shipping and buyers will receive a credit when the actual shipping amount is $3.00 or over the total quoted rates.
