A stunning, large example of an antique sterling silver dance or evening purse.
This beautiful purse is pristine throughout with remarkably clean, intact tan leather lining. The clasps is secure & has a reassuring 'click' as well as the hinge being in perfect working order. It is in excellent condition with no dents, repairs or personal engraving, with a good chain & finger ring.
It is fully hallmarked for silversmith F.D.Long. Birmingham 1917.
It measures approx 5" x 4" to top of clasp & weighs 3.5 troy ozs.
