This striking serving platter would make a great gift for your favorite teacher--if you could bring yourself to give it away.

The center of this pottery tray is glazed a vibrant orange while the back is shaped and painted like wood grain. Its orange intensity would make a wonderful backdrop against vegetable snacks and has the perfect spot for dip in the center.

This gorgeous orange apple-shaped Treasure Craft serving platter was most likely hand made in California sometime in the 1950s and is in great condition. Pottery pieces like this tend to be delicate but the wood grain on back shows only light wear and the apple stem contains two small chips that are not visible from the front of the piece. I tried to accurately portray the wear and chips in the accompanying photos.

The maker's mark is clearly displayed on the back. This tray is about 14 inches long by about 10 inches wide at its widest point.
