PAINTED PRISM ART RETREAT
in Estes Park, Colorado
July 12-16, 2018

Three days and four nights in beautiful Estes Park, Colorado -- to paint and create, to rest and rejuvenate, to learn and share.

TUITION: $550 (Lodging is available on-site, but at extra cost.)

TO REGISTER: You can secure your spot at this retreat, by paying the deposit of $250, here on Etsy.
The full balance of $300 will be due by July 1, 2018.

The tuition includes all your art supplies for the workshops, 3 days of Watercolor Workshops with Pat Howard, breakfast and lunch every day, wine and snacks in the evenings, water, coffee, tea, throughout the day, morning yoga sessions, and unlimited fresh mountain air.

The Painted Prism Art Retreat offers you a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in art, in an incredibly beautiful setting -- for a truly special experience.

At this Retreat, you will:
- Fill your journal/sketchbook with sketches, Super Doodles, and writing.
- Work with watercolor, pencils, pens, liquid acrylic, markers, collaging.
- Complete 2 or 3 Painting Projects.
- Come together for Group Activities -- with intention, meaning, and fun, of course.

ALL SKILL LEVELS WELCOME.

This Art Retreat will be fairly small - 14 to 20 women - with plenty of attention and time for each of you, as we accompany you on a journey of discovery.

We will be staying and painting and playing at a beautiful private mountain retreat in Estes Park -- set on 30 acres, with a lake and gorgeous mountain views.

You'll have the option of staying in the main house, or in one of four cabins on the property -- at an additional, but very affordable cost. Details will be sent to you, after you register.

Your TUITION DEPOSIT of $250 will secure you a spot in this retreat.

Pat is a talented artist and a patient and professional teacher. Her personal warmth and creativity drew out the best in each participant. I always felt encouraged and inspired as we worked through each day of the workshop...I learned a lot and met so many happy fellow attendees...exceeding my expectations.
Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. ..the setting was magnificent and the meals were exceptional. I hope I can return next summer.

This is a great tutorial for beginning painters to practice this technique. The instructions are clear, easy to follow. The results were so positive that I am going to do it again.

I tried this tutorial twice. They came out okay but I wasn't too happy with my version since it didn't look like Pat's beautiful painting. My watercolor instructor said "Nancy you didn't leave any white on the flowers" The instructions didn't say to and I thought with the white background that would be enough white but I do think I should have left more white on them as the petals all looked the same. I may try it again at another time and see if it looks better than the previous two tries.
