This pair of framed collages are a beautiful mid-century version of traditional (and much more elaborate) Mexican feather work, which was a popular artistic and decorative technique in pre-colonial Mexico.

This charming set of framed art features a mixed media collage featuring genuine bird feathers and shades of blue paint to form images of an elegant peacock and robin. Both feathercraft birds are matted and framed in vintage cream colored shabby chic frames.

Dimensions: 9.5" x 7.5"

Given that these pieces are 50+ years old, there are small signs of wear.

All small-to-medium sized framed artwork ships in a USPS Medium Flat Rate box.

All items listed are from my grandparents' estate. Because I am not a professional collector/dealer, all item details are based on a mixture of online research and best guess.
