Gone With The Wind, this vintage original 1950s Southern Belle sage green sunhat beckons a time way down yonder in yesteryear's south...Back when handsome gents frankly didn't give a damn and they'd sweep you off your feet with the most romantic kiss to ever caress a lovely lady's lips!

Designed for Emme Boutique by high fashion milliner Frank Olive, this elegantly classic wide brim hat features a soft shade of sage green, or a pale mint or pistachio, that is absolutely breathtaking and a complementing grassy hued ribbon that perfectly matches the underside of the straw hat.

Making a exquisite gift for a charming old west saloon girl, this vintage 1950s designer sunhat would winsomely beautify a Victorian, Belle Époque, or better yet a Civil War inspired costume, however it would also be very suitable paired with an ethereal wedding gown or casual-elegant summer sundress!

In good vintage condition for its age, this 1950s original Emme Boutique Frank Olive Southern Belle sage green straw sunhat shows very few signs of wear. The brim of the hat slightly curls upward, but I think that is part of the natural design of the hat, and it is a quite adorable characteristic! As seen in the images provided, there are a few, light, scattered areas of natural patina on the exterior surface of the hat, however in indoor light this is surprising hardly noticeable. The photos were taken in the bright outdoor sunlight where they are more easily seen. There appears to be barely any edge or surface wear to the hat on the exterior and interior; the ribbon has the slightest bit of edge wear but this is hard to detect. Also included (as shown in the images) is a vintage 1940s-1950s gold and white striped round vintage hat box; it has some light expected cosmetic wear but it is still very functional and attractive storage!

Interior circumference is 20" (I am the model, and I typically wear a hat with a 21" interior circumference, and as expected this hat was a little snug/tight on my head, however still wearable for me). The brim is 2 3/4" wide, and the overall height of the hat is approximately 4 1/4".
