I have been keeping this for years, intending to do some sort of creepy Halloween "Witches Brew" decor out of it. (Sometimes I have to be real with myself and admit that I am not going to get time for things!)

It is very lovely, and would make a great display piece. I don't know that I would reccommend it for actual water-boiling use, but it has clearly been used in the past.

The exterior orange enamel is bright and vivid. There is a chip in the enamel on the top of the spout, and a larger patch of damage where the lid meets the knob. The very top rim opening of the kettle has one nick along the black, which is hard to see. The black enamel of the handle is still solid and nice, as well as the white that is the interior.

Inside the kettle, the white enamel is stained from use (I assume with tea or coffee). This may be bleachable, I do not know, I am not an expert on enamelware and I didn't want to damage it.

Knob on top may or may not be original, it is white with the image of pink roses on it.

Bottom is marked, with an image that is the shape of a kettle with an "S" in it, and the words "Made in Poland."
