"GRGARRKKK!!!!" gurgled Dr. Sombra as he attempted to pry the mummified Hand of Set the First from his throat.

"Come again?" replied his assistant Eduardo who was busily dusting the professor's Etruscan ear spoon collection.

"HRUKRRRGLE!!!" the professor replied as he whirled about, sweeping pens, papers, cuneiform tablets, an ash tray and a still smoking cheroot from his desk. The Hand was slowly crushing his trachea and he was becoming slightly agitated.

"Is that Aramaic?" said Eduardo slowly realizing that this wasn't one of Sombra's normal outbursts.

"ARGK..." gasped the professor as he toppled over the end of the desk, his face turning a lovely shade of blue.

"Oh Dear!" exclaimed Eduardo, as he turned to behold the struggling form of the professor on the Persian carpet with the ankylosed Egyptian member at his throat.

"OH DEAR!!" repeated Eduardo, as he quickly cast about the room searching for a window from which to leap. Discovering none he fixed his attention upon the door of Dr. Sombra's office. But there was one problem. The door was blocked by the professor and the fearsome Hand of Set. What to do?

While desperately casting about for a means of escape, Eduardo spied the glowing form of the professor's cigar. It had come to rest on the Persian rug, and was now happily attempting to set it alight. Eduardo grasped the cigar by it's unpleasantly moist end and without a second thought he thrust it against the malicious undead hand.

The dessicated hand immediately caught flame and with a violent spasm released Sombra's neck. Righting itself, it began to rapidly scuttle across the floor. In its desperate, careening journey the hand, now completely enveloped in flame, ran directly toward Eduardo.

Fearing for his life Eduardo scooped the hand up with the toe of his boot and with a deft flick of the ankle he flipped it, sparking and disintegrating into the fireplace. With a white-hot flash the hand exploded into inert bone fragments and curling black sinews.

The professor, now sitting up and rubbing the already darkening bruise about his throat, stared up at the pale assistant.

"You saved me, lad! That was a a bit of all right!" coughed Sombra.

"Er...yes. But what about the Hand of Set?" Eduardo asked, keen to change the topic of the conversation. "You spent half of your life locating it and now it's gone up in flames. I fear that I've ruined everything!"

"We'll surely find other antiquities worthy of my attentions. But as to the loss of the Hand, fear not, it was part of a Set."

The Hand is mounted in a wood and glass shadow box on twin brass pegs and is removable. The shadow box is 10 x 8 x 3 inches and is hinged to open at glass front.
