About
With broad strokes of intermingling bold color, Sexy Beets beckon the viewers to investigate one step closer. The diverse trio lays in wait, with their bare roots intertwined. A declaration of beauty, positive energy and strength in the sensual world of the divergent ones.

Painted in oil on a deep (1 ½”) birch wood panel, this original 6” x 8” miniature painting is available for purchase. Limited Edition prints (250 total) of this piece can also be purchased in two different sizes (6” x 8”, 15” x 20”) under a separate listing in the shop.

Sexy Beets is from the Slow Life series, oil and pastel paintings inspired by the slow life and food movement. The Slow Life paintings are her positive revolt against our modern addiction to the “slick, fast and cheap” life that is compromising our health and safety.

Ten percent of the proceeds from the Slow Life Series will be donated to ASAN (Autistic Self Advocacy Network- http://autisticadvocacy.org/home/about-asan/). ASAN is a non-profit organization run by and for autistic people. They work to “empower autistic people across the world to take control of our own lives and the future of our common community, and seek to organize the Autistic community to ensure our voices are heard in the national conversation about us.”
