Description

Vintage silver and enamel bracelet, coral cabochons, hinged, flowers and silver beads, 60g.

Polished natural red coral cabochons are prong set in this vintage tribal style hinged bracelet. The coral is set on a sapphire blue enamel field, and a floral design continues around the bracelet in mustard yellow and emerald green enamels. The enamel is framed on either side by three rope silver bands.

The bracelet closes with a silver pin that is quite secure and easily inserted.

The bracelet is 7 inches in circumference, measured from the inside of the bracelet. It is 2-1/2 inches wide. The coral cabochons average 9mm wide.

The bracelet has a hallmark that is faint, due to wear. Initially we thought it was Southeast Asian, but a knowledgble Etsy user kindly pointed out that it was a Berber bracelet. Doing some further research, this bracelet seems to be from the Kabyle region in Algeria from the enamel colors ad the way the coral cabochons are prong set.

This bracelet has been worn and loved over the years, and is missing 1 silver bead on the side of two of the coral cabochons. One must look hard to notice this, but we like to mention any minor flaws!

FAQs

At our house, we practice recycling and encourage minimal packaging materials. Items will be shipped securely but we rarely include extra materials, just to keep them out of the waste stream. Should an item need to be wrapped, we will! We try very hard to recycle boxes, and ship anything that may be water-sensitive in 100% recycled poly envelopes from EcoEnclose.
I normally post items via USPS, and ship the day after receiving payment. If payment arrives early enough I can sometimes ship same day! If, however, you wish you had it yesterday (I do understand these things), expedited shipping is available upon request, but only after you agree to the extra costs involved.

Any item over $150 will be shipped insured and require a signature for delivery. Sorry for the inconvenience but it may save us all a headache in the end!
I now ship USPS First Class post, as the costs for Priority Mail are unbelievably high. There is no published delivery timespan on First Class but it has been my experience it's not that much slower than Priority. Should you prefer Priority, which publishes a 6-10 day delivery span (and note this doesn't count the time spent in your country's customs office) just let me know. Right now it's running $33 or so.

Please note that buyers are responsible for any and all duties and customs charges that may be incurred for shipments outside the US.

I am sorry, but we are unable to ship to countries not covered by the Shipsurance policy of being able to track packages door to door. Some countries insurance stops at the airport.
