Its always stop and go traffic these days. But that's a good thing when it is birds at your feeder.

Bird feeder made from used, durable plastic, traffic signal lenses.
Green light lens on top is a beautiful aqua, and intense red light lens for the base.

This is my last one available with the low profile retro looking roof line.

This is a video of gold finches feasting in one of my feeders. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ERxmrx1On1o

Upcycled rubber washers, new stainless steel cable, and various hardware make this feeder. The "s" shaped hooks that connect the base and the roof are upcycled used brass chain link which has a beautiful patina.

A perfect addition for your urban garden.

The design allows for the base to be removed from the top and therefor very easy to clean. If you need a little extra help attracting birds, the top can be removed to make the bird seed more visible. Unhook the base from the roof and add twine or string to the loops at the bottom piece and hang without the roof.

The lenses are very dirty when I get them. I clean and polish them, but some scratches remain, so there is still a sign of their history. I have stamped a bird image into several of the cable stops on the feeder. The roof measures 12 inches across and the base is 8 inches across.

Due to the nature of up-cycling, some slight variation can occur among the lenses and hardware. However the differences are very minor and do not affect the overall look of the feeder, and in general are not even noticeable.

Keep it simple; recycled materials bird feeder. Rock on!
