Description

Who doesn't love finger puppets? These have been enjoyed by kids, adults, and cats. They were inspired by a friend's kid who looked at my tiny krakens and asked "Are those from Splatoon?" Well, I'd never played it, but my son has, so after a bit of experimentation and a minimum of hair-pulling, these came together.

They were originally going to be tiny amigurumi plushies, but after sticking one on a pen to take a pic of it for an out-of-state friend, I thought "finger puppet"! That's when the above picture of my son was taken. Yes, he's 26, but finger puppets are so much fun, no one can resist. Especially not cats, so if you have any, be sure to make extras.

The ninjas were a request from a friend, and that's his hand in the pic. Then, he messaged asking if I could make some for his daughter, so he could get his back. I'm a bit disappointed that no one's ever requested them in Cobra colors, but there's nothing stopping you from making your own!

Pattern includes instructions, pictures, and supply list. Gauge isn't critical, but I listed the yarn & hook sizes I used for the examples.
