[History]

In 1879, the German Carl Benz made up a motorized tricycle and managed to sell two of them ; the automobile industry was born! Twenty years later, at the eve of the 20th century, over 9500 vehicles were being made in Germany, France and the United States. What gave everyone a car, though, was Henry Ford’s well-known « Model T ». The production began in 1908 and sold up to 16 million copies. Miniature models or the first cars soon made their apparition for collection… or for fun!
Toys on wheels exist since the dawn of History. We can even see pictures of two-wheeled cars on some Ancient Greek potteries, and we can be sure that this tradition made it until today!
