I created this quilt for Project Quilting through a friends blog http://kimscraftyapple.blogspot.com/2010/05/more-from-our-sponsors-for-project.html. The challenge was to use the log cabin block.
It is machine pieced, machine applique and machine quilted. I used my 4 different water prints and 3 sand prints and quilted in lots of geometric shapes. The back and binding are bright orange because no day at the beach would be complete without the sunshine!
This quilt would look lovely as a table centerpiece since there is no right side or wrong side up. Or it could be hung on the wall.
This quilt measures 28" square.
