Description

Oversized cables, divided by dropped stitches distinguish this design.
The sideways cables curve around to form the shoulder and sleeve in one piece. The back is knit in stockinette stitch in one piece with the sleeves. All techniques used are clearly described in the stitch glossary. There is no chart to follow for these easy cables. Recommended for the intermediate knitter who is experienced with reading patterns.

Sizes: small (30”-32”), medium (34”-36”), large (38”-40”) Finished width at armholes: 32” (36”, 40”)

I used Plymouth Yarn, Encore Chunky and size 11 needles for the sample.
The gauge for the pattern is 11 sts = 4” & 17 rows = 4”
in stockinette stitch
Note: The yarn used is a bulky yarn that calls for a size 10 needle and 14 sts = 4” gauge. I knit this sweater with a looser gauge on purpose so the cables are not too tight and bulky. Keep this in mind if you are substituting yarn.

The pattern includes color photos of the finished project, easy to follow directions, a list of abbreviations and a stitch glossary explaining the techniques used in the project.

It will be sent to you as an attachment to an email, please verify your email address.
