In the style of early California Native American shell jewelry, this long pendant necklace is a five-point abalone star, approximately 2 1/2" in size, with 5 (2")shell and bead dangles. It is approximately 24" in total length, and hangs 8" from the neck. The strand is double, brought together periodically by a shell bead, and consists of beads of coral, turquoise, lapis, green glass and shell strung on waxed linen with a sterling silver toggle clasp.
