Description

The Fourth Printing! ❤️

My complete 78-card original art tarot deck. This listing is for the deck only, if you'd like the deck + cloth combo, go here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/605497386/the-sasuraibito-tarot-tarot-altar-cloth?ref=shop_home_feat_3

The Japanese word: "sasuraibito" most closely translates to "wanderer." It's an old-fashioned literary term that is falling out of use, meant to describe a person ever-seeking, searching for a place of healing and refuge. This deck is designed to aid the curious wanderer, and accompany you on your adventures to come.
This 78 card deck is inspired loosely by the Raider-Waite deck, contemporary living in the Western world, and Japanese and Buddhist concepts and ideals.

The cards measure 2.75''×4.75'' (70mm×120mm) on 330gsm (super smooth) glossy card stock, and are encased in a beautiful, sturdy lidded box featuring the card back design.

Also included is a 63-page guidebook, with brief notes on the meanings and symbolism of my cards. The deck is loosely inspired by the Rider-Waite tarot deck. While some cards follow common iconography fairly closely (Strength, The World), others diverge strongly from tradition (Death, Judgment). Common themes in the deck are the key points in the cycle of life, embracing endings and keeping the fool's open mind.

I painted the original designs between 2015-2017, in sumi ink, watercolor and Windsor & Newton Inks. The original major arcana deck lives in the personal collection of a patron in New York.

Thank you so much for looking!

Shipping policies

>>>Holiday shipping!<<<
To guarantee your goodies arrive to you by Dec. 24th, if you live in the US I recommend placing your order by December 18th. For you worldly international lovelies, I would place yours by November 26th. If you live life on the edge, feel free to order after that date. :) It may likely get to you, but I cannot guarantee it.

I ship all prints and artwork in clear, resealable cello bags in stayflat cardboard mailers, to arrive to you safely!

I ship using USPS first class shipping. I try and ship out the next business day, and your items should arrive to you within 3-5 business days, longer for international shipping: anywhere from 1-4 weeks.

Tracking is automatically included with domestic orders. :)

*a special note for international purchases* depending on your country, a customs fee may be required upon receipt of your package. As they vary from country to country, you are responsible for this. Thanks for understanding.

Additional policies

I love doing custom orders. Feel free to convo me or send send an email to stasia.yb(at)gmail.com.

In the past this has included: wedding invitations, Save-the-Dates, custom portraits, personalized artwork, blog headers and spot illustration, tattoo designs and a painted bike helmet. I am always up for something new, and love collaborating with clients on something new and special.

Everything in the shop is handmade, hand-printed, shipped out by me, and I package everything up to arrive safely.
