Machined stainless steel takedown knob that replaces the forend screw to allow the user to takedown thier rifle or shotgun in the field with absolutely no tools required. Perfect for quick takedown to stow your firearm in a backpack, rucksack, duffle bag, pack basket, bedroll or under your truck seat. Absolutely no modification to the firearm required! Small enough to not interfere with the handling of the firearm but large enough with agrresive knurling to easily grip and unthread allowing you to break down your H&R / NEF pardner, topper, handi rifle, etc in a matter of seconds with no tools! The head is approx 3/4" diameter and 3/16" thick solid stainless steel, no plating or paint to peel, flake, or chip.

Works fantastic! I heated it up with a torch and got it red hot and dip it in used motor oil to get that case harden look to match the rest of the shotgun.
