Baby Bib Builder: Reflux & Spitup Bib System (HEAVY) by Down With Spit Up™

Description

The Bib Builder design works with a base bib, or “perma-bib,” constructed of high quality bird’s eye cotton (newborn) and terry cloth (infant), as well as three top layer attachments.

You then layer on and remove the attachments, via snaps, as they are soiled; through one feeding or a period of time. They also double as towels for any mess.

It also includes a burper attachment that latches to the bottom via snaps to protect one’s shoulder, lap and more.

-It is designed for quick wash, dry and repeat, serving as the all-in-one bib and burper system.

-It is the signature product of Down With Spit Up, the virtual support system for reflux and colic families.

Bib Builder comes in two sizes and each includes 3 top, removable layers.

-LIGHT, typically for newborn-three months, but can work for lighter messages through age 1. Made of 100% bird’s eye cotton for softness and smaller spit up sessions

-HEAVY, typically for infant age and older, made of 100% terry cloth cotton to manage more massive spit ups, drooling and other feeding issues for older babies.

Bib Builder was created because it simply had to be. When I realized my newborn’s massive reflux was more than a laundry problem, I needed strong, durable, absorbent, (and multiple) bibs and burp cloths to manage the volume and frequency of spit up. No store brand cut it.

He also needed to wear a bib any time he was awake, with frequent messes on his clothes and ours, which indeed worsened our actual laundry problem.

From reflux, to burping issues and eventual transition to solids, I needed a simpler way to manage the messes while focusing my attention where it was needed: on my child.

More than half of infants suffer from reflux, with many tagged as “happy spitters.” I designed it, built it, and used Bib Builder for 18 months, and now ready to share this useful product with other families and caregivers.
