THIS DRESS IS AVAILABLE FOR CUSTOM ORDERS ONLY!

This is a variation of my other Regency style dresses, and opens a huge opportunity for a myriad of color and fabric choices for a fabulous Regency Spencer jacket and dress. Since this style of Spencer jacket requires less fabric yardage than a floor-length, open robe style of jacket, I have a larger inventory of shorter yardage to choose from for your custom order. The dress and jacket pictured are just an example of the many color choices available. Fabric samples are happily supplied, free of charge, to anyone actively considering a custom order. Let me know your color preference!

The jacket is fully lined and has an antique mother of pearl buckle closure. Both the bodice and the front of the skirt on the underdress have a layer of delicately embroidered cotton ivory mesh lace. The underdress has a center back zipper closure. The dress can be made with a train in the back, which will add $40.00 USD to the original price listed for this dress.

Returns and exchange details

Please read the description and size of the item carefully, and ask any questions you may have beforehand, as I will not give refunds on any item. I apologize, but in the past I have been duped into giving a refund on a returned garment before ultimately realizing it had been worn. I am an individual selling handmade items that can take as long as several months to make, and therefore I cannot accommodate the return policy that large chain stores offer. Thanks for your understanding. You're wonderful.

Shipping policies

SHIPPING WITHIN THE U.S.:

All items shipped within the U.S. will require a signature confirmation, which means you or a designated person will have to sign for the package; or you may need to pick it up from your post office. This is a safety measure to ensure you will receive your item with no worries for either of us because mail carriers tend to leave packages outside of mailboxes which exposes them to theft. Please make sure a signature confirming delivery can be obtained at the address you give me. You will not have to pay for signature confirmation, and so it is not included in the shipping quote. If you do not wish your package shipped with signature confirmation, you must tell me in writing that you will not hold me (Sharon Maczko or twin B designs) liable for any loss or theft.

All buyers are responsible for total shipping charges. I will happily refund any amount overpaid in the shipping quote.

Most packages are shipped US Postal Service Priority 2-Day Delivery; in most cases, it is the most economical method of shipping.

In a hurry? Request overnight shipping (cost will be substantially higher)

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:

PACKAGES SHIPPED INTERNATIONALLY WILL LIKELY BE CHARGED IMPORT TAXES AND CUSTOMS FEES/TARIFFS; THESE AND ANY OTHER FEES IMPOSED BY YOUR COUNTRY WILL BE PAID FOR BY THE BUYER. INFORMATION ON CUSTOMS FORMS WILL NOT BE FALSIFIED, SO PLEASE DO NOT ASK. Also, be advised that items can be held in customs for days, even weeks. I apologize, but this is beyond my control.

If the item is valued at less than $400.00 USD, price quotes for insured shipping outside the U.S. is through US Postal Service First Class Mail International, and may take 2-3 weeks for delivery. If the item is valued over $400.00 USD, it can only be shipped insured via US Postal Service Priority Mail International. If you need your item faster, contact me. If you do not see a shipping quote for your country, please contact me first so I can give you a shipping cost, because shipping is not free. If you need to return an item that is not custom made, you must contact me within 14 days of receipt of the item.

CUSTOM ORDERS:

Some items, but not all, are available for custom orders. THE FIRST KEY TO A SUCCESSFUL CUSTOM ORDER IS COMMUNICATION! THE SECOND KEY IS ACCURATE MEASUREMENTS! So please be prepared to respond to conversations/emails in a timely manner, and continue to read below regarding measurements.

Once we have established a custom order and are in agreement on any style changes, alterations, color, fabric, etc., you may either pay for the garment in full, or make an initial payment of 50% of the total cost of the dress, minus shipping cost. Whichever you choose, a payment is required before I commence work on the garment. This is non-refundable once I have proceeded into the sewing process. I also charge a $20.00 USD fee on top of the original price of the garment to create new pattern pieces tailored to your exact size. I always send photos during the creation to keep you updated and apprised. Once the garment is finished, I will send you a number of comprehensive photos of the finished piece. When I am confident you are satisfied with the end result, any remaining unpaid balance, along with the shipping cost, will be charged to you, and will need to be paid before the garment is shipped to you. I generally use PayPal to invoice my clients if they have split the cost into two payments; however, having a PayPal account is not an absolute necessity for a custom order. Please let me know ahead of time if you do not have a PayPal account.

I will send you a detailed description on how to take your own measurements and which measurements I will need. I then adjust my dress form to the measurements you have given me, and fit the garment to the dress form as it is being created, which has always been a completely accurate fit for previous clients. I cannot accommodate anyone smaller than 33 US bust or larger than 48 US bust.

If we are creating an entirely new dress (or any other garment) design together, I can create a drawing of the proposed garment for an extra $20.00 USD fee. This helps to visualize it better, but a drawing is completely optional.

I can make very minor changes to the design of any of my listings at your request, but please be aware that asking for extra embellishments or style changes will increase the original cost of the item. Also, if you request any revisions on your garment after I have already quoted you a price on the custom order, I retain the right to increase the price according to the extent of the desired changes.
