This simple, yet gorgeous, 100% silk dupion Christening gown features a sash tie available in blue, pink, ivory, white or lace making this gown suitable for a boy or girl (also see our Echo Romper for boys). The gown is finished with silk covered handmade buttons and silk loop fastenings. The back skirt is left open for easier handling of baby, and to allow the skirt to drape beautifully when being carried. Handmade to order. Ivory or white. 100% silk. Fully lined with soft polyester. Made in Scotland.

The Echo Christening / Baptism gown comes in sizes Newborn (up to 41cm chest), 0-3 months (up to 43cm chest), 3-6 months (up to 46cm chest), 6-9 months (up to 49cm chest), 9-12 months (up to 52cm chest) and 12-18 months (up to 55cm chest) and measures approximately 88cm in length from shoulder to hem.

As a natural fibre there will be certain irregularities or variations in shade or weave, which are characteristics of the silk.

Pamela was so helpful. I wasn’t sure on what size to order and she replied straight away with advice and also messaged 2 weeks before I needed the gown to get an accurate chest size before making the gown. It arrived 3 days later and it is so lovely and excellent quality. This will definitely be used for future children within the family
