Here is a real gem for you! The "Reducing Cook Book and Diet Guide" was first released in 1951, and this is a second printing from 1953. It is a Fawcett Book, # 203, by Llewellyn Miller and approved by Today's Woman magazine. It has a foreword from a doctor discussing health benefits of reducing weight, and even tells you how to make yogurt! 144 pages of recipes, hints, and pictures. This cook book has been used but still has many years left especially for a 57 year old paperback! A few crinkled spots that may have had liquid on them a long time again and one small coffee? spot on front. Also small creased front bottom corner. Overall good spine, binding, and pages have no rips or writing. Lots of good fish, shellfish, salad and vegie recipes!
