Item details

Vintage from the 1950s

sterling silver

Sigi Pineda is an internationally recognized master silversmith from Tasco, Mexico and his work continues to be collected and loved by many. He was born in 1929.

This set consists of a bracelet, brooch and earrings sort of like boomerangs with sterling pearls as an accent. All pieces are sterling silver, darkened as part of the design. They are circa 1955. This design is not found often and is a fine set for a collector. The earrings are the combination clasp and screwback. The bracelet has a safety chain. Marks (see photo) include Sterling Hecho en Mexico, Sigi Tasco in an oval, Eagle 3 and an inventory mark 25 on the bracelet. There is another inventory mark on one earring but I cannot make it out.

The bracelet is approx. 7 inches, the brooch is 2-3/4" and the earrings are 1-1/4". Condition is very good.
