Such a pretty little thing! This vintage amber depression glass pedestal bowl has such a gorgeous design with scalloped edges.

Made by Anchor Hocking Glass Co. in the "Sandwich" pattern during the period 1939 to 1964.

In excellent vintage condition, from my Mom's collection. No chips or cracks & approx. 3" tall & 6 3/8" in diameter.

According to my research, the "Sandwich" pattern was inspired by a group of patterns made popular by those Sandwich, Massachusetts glass makers that have a flower & ornate scroll motif with the space between filled with stippling (tiny raised dots). The flowers on Anchor Hocking Sandwich items are nearly the same as those on pieces by Indiana Glass except that they have a double outline.
