Original Zen painting is a unique form of art. Sumi ink starts as a solid stick of charcoal and is traditionally ground on a special stone with water to produce the black ink. Zen art is bold, energetic and direct, depicting an image with a few strokes of the brush to capture and express the essence or spirit of the moment.

4 x 9 inch paintings fit well in a standard frame 8.5 x 11 with matting
6 x 9 inch paintings fit well in 10 x 13 frame with matting
12 x 12 inch paintings fit in a "album" cover frame perfectly.
In case my wild brushstrokes come close to the edge of the paper, you could "float" art with the matting opening larger than the artwork.
Traditional scroll mounting is also available, contact me for details.

I pack and ship via USPS within a day or so to get your artwork to you quickly. I am not responsible for loss by the USPS. I will try and resolve the issue with you, but cannot replace loss by the carrier.
Domestic orders will take an estimated 2-5 days shipping time. International orders will take an estimated 7-14 days, but may take up to several weeks due to customs processing and you will be responsible for VAT customs fees/taxes. Expedited Priority Mail shipping (~2-3 days) and Expedited Priority Mail Express shipping (~1-2 days) are also available with additional costs.
