Although I make my beads with heavy-duty beading wire and solid components including sturdy stone or tempered glass beads, prayer beads are not indestructible--if you use them for tug-of-war or hurl them against the wall, they may break :). They should, however, hold up to most normal use and wear. Because of the materials and finishes used, I don't recommend using jewelry cleaner or any harsh soaps or household cleaners on your prayer beads; they should not be washed in the dishwasher or washing machine, or otherwise submerged in water for cleaning. I suggest wiping gently with a soft, damp cloth.

While I try hard to keep items in stock, they do take quite a while to make and when an item is sold out, it can sometimes take weeks to restock, sometimes more, depending on time issues.

"Devotion: Prayers to the Gods of the Greeks" is a collection of prayers to the Greek gods written and shared over the years by a modern devotee, presented together here as a printable PDF file. The book includes prayers to Hestia, Zeus, Hera, Poseidon, Demeter, Hades, Athena, Apollo, Artemis, Hermes, Aphrodite, Ares, Hephaistos (Hephaestus), Dionysos, Pan, Eros, Hekate (Hecate), Persephone, Asklepios (Asclepius), Tyche, Nike, Eileithuia, and Gaia.

This edition of the book is formatted for 8.5x11" US letter-sized paper so that it may be printed if desired; I enlarged the font size as well to make it easier to read (I sometimes like to print out a page to refer to, and the larger print is a help when reading by candlelight).

You can also read it on your computer or other device using a PDF reader; the digital document includes a bookmarked table of contents to make this easier.
