Description

See one of my lamps in an online Ralph Lauren ad ~ https://davidhill.tv/rl/

Since 1968 I have been making original macramé hanging lamps and many people have asked me to show them how this is done. The problem being that they are incredibly labor-intensive and time consuming, so I was only able to show this process to a limited few. I have been wanting to put this material into a book for some time now and that is why I produced the two macramé books, "How to Make a Macramé Lamp", Part 1 and Part 2. The first book deals with the top, wire frame for the lamp and the second book (this one) shows how to produce the unique "cut work" pattern for the body of the lamp.

I developed this "cut work" macramé pattern approximately 36 years ago. This pattern really comes to life when the lamp has a light. Over the years I have had many people ask me how it is done but have rarely had time to do so. Hence this book.

IMPORTANT NOTES: it is expected that you already know how to macramé before starting this project.

THIS IS THE SECOND IN A SERIES OF THREE BOOKS, BUT IT IS ALSO STANDALONE: IF YOU INTEND TO USE THIS "CUTWORK" PATTERN FOR A PROJECT OTHER THAN A LAMP, YOU DO NOT NEED TO BUY BOOK 1 OR 2.
