Can you build a custom design box for me?

All of our boxes have been designed by us, but are manufactured and shipped to us raw for finishing. Therefore, all boxes are built prior to purchase, then are customized to your selections. Because of this, we are unable to accommodate any custom builds at this time. Please be sure to message us if you have some specifications in mind and we will let you know if we are able to adjust any of our existing designs to accommodate.

Can I pay extra to rush my order?

While many other shops will happily take extra money from you to bump you ahead of their other paying customers, we don’t believe in this policy. We work hard every day to get as many orders out as possible. We don’t need extra money to maintain that level of effort, and we don’t feel this is fair treatment to the customers ahead of you. So if you need your order by an earlier date than Etsy is quoting you, please shoot us a message prior to purchase. We will assess our upcoming schedule and get back to you if we see some availability. It’s very possible, and quite common, that we are able to make it happen for most customers. But in the event that we are unable to squeeze anything extra in, we will let you know promptly.

Can I choose more than one fabric for my box?

Absolutely! Listings are set up to only offer one option from the drop down, but if you want to use two complementing fabrics in your box, just leave us a “note to seller” during checkout describing your vision. If we have any concerns or questions regarding your request, we will definitely let you know!

Can I get a painted finish instead of stain?

While, we are not the biggest fans of painted boxes, we are happy to accommodate this request for you. However, please note that our boxes are perfectly imperfect. This is something we feel adds to the character of our stained boxes, but can sometimes be a bit of an eyesore on a painted box. For this reason, we do not offer perfectly smooth painted finishes, and your paint will most likely be distressed a bit to blend with our designs better. We do also have to charge a bit more for painted boxes, as the detailing process is more time consuming. Please inquire with us before purchase noting which box design and color you want painted and we will get back to you with custom pricing based on this info.

Can I return if I change my mind?

Yes, I accept returns. However, please understand that most of the items in my shop are highly customized and take me a lot of time to create a box or piece to your specifications. These are not something that I can resell to the next person who comes along if you change your mind. For this reason, I often times will have to charge a restocking fee, in addition to shipping. So if you are returning something back to me for reasons other than damage or error on my part, you will be responsible for a restocking fee as well as the cost of shipping labels already spent getting the item to you + shipping labels for your return. In some cases, this could mean only a 50% refund on your purchase price.

This listing is an ADD ON option for any of my custom watch boxes. Add this to your order to add a CNC machine engraved inscription to your watch box order. Choose font style, location, and fill option. As you can see from the diagram, some fill options do not pair well all stains, so be sure to check that in the diagram. Also note, our newer acacia boxes have finish similar in color to the golden oak. While the color in the acacia can vary, in most situations the gold fill does not work well with acacia wood and ends up being illegible, so it is advised not to select gold for acacia wood boxes. We have also noted the most common inscription placements which apply to our window lid designs. The watch compartment box, and the chest box have different available options than the window lid options.

Some customers do request actual quotes for their inscriptions, so to eliminate any confusion, please DO NOT include quotation marks unless you want them inscribed.

Be sure to double check spelling and grammar. We copy and paste your inscription request into our software exactly as it's entered. We are not responsible for any mistakes unless the error is made on our end.

Due to machine restrictions, please note the following for placement options in regard to your chosen watch box design:

** The CHEST design can only be inscribed on the front of the tray.
**The SINGLE compartment design can be inscribed anywhere on the box except the lip of the lid and lip of the body
** All watch box designs which feature a WINDOW LID can only be inscribed on the frame of the window. The bodies of these boxes are too large to fit under the machine.

If you wish to add more than one inscription, or your length is going to require multiple placements, please note the following:
The engraving add on is priced to include the labor of creating a engraving file, setting up the machine, and running that engraving. The engraving listing only needs to be purchased once if you put both inscriptions in the same location. For example. If you would like one inscription along the top inside of the frame, and one inscription along the bottom inside of the frame, we only have to create one file and run the machine one time. However, if you want one inside on the frame and one outside on the frame, then we have to create two separate files, set up the machine for the first inscription, then reset for the second inscription. This requires more labor and more run time, so would require you to purchase the engraving add on twice. If this is unclear, or you are unsure of what to purchase for your request, be sure to reach out to us via messaging to inquire before purchase.
