WIth a very Deco look, this WInged Indian resides on a large solid silver coin ( 7.6 grams) that measures 1 1/3" across. IT is also a brooch so you can wear it more than one way. The sterling chain ( also marked on the clasp)is 17" long and weighs 5.5 grams.

The "Eagle" form marks on the back of this brooch/pendant were instituted by the Mexican government in 1948. The number on the eagle's chest ( 28) indicates either the city of assay or an individual maker. THe eagle is often thought to be a bell since it is such a small mark. This is in great shape and something you could get a lot of wear out of.
