Nothing more epitomizes the glamour of the 1930′s more than a silk charmeuse bias cut gown. The bias cut was invented by designer Madelein Vionnet, and worn by acresses such as Jean Harlow and Greta Garbo. This silk charmeuse gown is the definition of understated elegance with diagonal, curve hugging seams and silk chiffon edging at the neckline and sleeves. The silk is so light and stretchy it just slips on over the head, no zipper necessary!

Size 2, fits someone up to 5'4 tall
please note, samples are sold as is - buyer is responsible for alterations. Since samples have been worn for a photo shoot, they may have some slight signs of wear and tear, but nothing that compromises their appearance. Please contact me for details about the condition of this sample.

Regular price for made to order - $1000

Each of my gowns is made to order, so please allow 3-5 weeks. Since women don't come in generic shapes and sizes, I make the gown to your exact measurements rather than set dress sizes. This ensures as close a fit as possible, however you may still need to have slight alterations made because there's no substitute for doing a fitting in person. Please convo me if you are interested and provide an e-mail address and I will send you instructions for taking the measurements.
