Materials: sterling silver
This simple, flowing design is another of Sigi's interpretation of a fish in motion using sterling silver. It is pictured in the Morrill and Berk book Mexican Silver. The brooch is circa 1955.
It measures 2-1/2" by one inch. The back is marked: 55 (design number), Sigi Tasco (in two ovals), Sterling Hecho En Mexico (in a circle) and has the Eagle 36 mark.
Sigi Pineda is an internationally recognized master silversmith from Tasco, Mexico and his work continues to be collected and loved by many.

Wonderful necklace and bracelet. I had purchased the same bracelet in New Orleans over 20 years ago and just wondered if there were any matching peices out there. I was elated to find the matching necklace and another copy of my favorite peice of signature jewlery that i always wear. The item was shipped fast, wrapped beautifully and fairly priced. Wonderful seller! Thank you so much! I just found the ring on ebay this week too :)
