Prior to WW I, very tiny glass seed beads were manufactured in Venice. Production of this size and style of tiny bead ceased in the 1910's, so these are over 90 years old. Such beads are a great for repair work on antique purses or other old beadwork. They are also wonderful for creating incredibly detailed new beadwork items and for adorning miniatures.

These beads are small enough to drop through the hole of modern seed beads on the market; yet each individual bead has a hole of its own!

Offered here is 3 grams of bagged, loose glass micro beads. Color is white pearl, as shown in photo. There are very approximately 40 beads per inch.
