This pocket-sized shrine to Ares is made from an upcycled Sucrets tin, with fabric in red-and-white and gold decoupaged inside and out. The lid states the deity's name in Greek lettering and depicts the fiftieth anniversary march across the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, AL.

The shrine contains a small box of matches, a tealight candle, and two unique prayer cards. The original, one-of-a-kind art on each prayer card is colored pencil and india ink; one depicts Ares himself, the other his shield and spear. The reverse of each prayer card is a brief handwritten prayer to Ares.
