Description

Exceptional art deco, heavy glass bucket vase made in the 1920s or 1930s.

It is likely to have been made in Bohemia, possibly by Moser and is made in Neodymium Alexandrite glass. It changes from a pale blue/ pink colour in natural day light to green under fluorescent lighting. I suspect it also contains Selenium as it glows a bright red colour under UV light.

It is engraved with a band of geometric art deco chevrons.

A truly stunning piece whose colours will not disappoint. The photos do not do it justice at all.

************************************************************************

The vase is:

16cm (6.5 inches) high;
14.5cm (5.75 inches) wide;
and weighs 2.4kg (5.3 pounds).

It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, scratches or bruises.
