Kingman Turquoise Ring in Sterling Silver with 14K Gold Accent, size 8 1/2 ~ Handmade, Chunky, Boho Chic, One of a Kind, Asymmetric Ring

Freeform Kingman Turquoise set in an asymmetric sterling silver setting with 14k gold accents. The band is a medium width half round with a satin finish. The ring is size 8 1/2.
This is old mine turquoise, dug up by the stonecutter back in the 70s. The lovely blue color contrasts nicely with a rusty matrix, and even has a tiny spot of apple green.
The setting measures 1 1/4" (3.17 cm) tall and 7/8ths of an inch (2.22 cm) across. I've given the silver a patina to emphasize the hammered texture, and a final polish with museum wax.
All of my jewelry is packaged in a gift box. I ship in a sturdy box and all shipments are fully insured. Please remember that for all non-US purchases, you are responsible for any fees and duties imposed by the customs authorities of your country.

So, I was to be in front of a judge on an important case, and asked a friend to serve as my co-counsel. He wears French cuff shirts, like me. So, what might be missing in terms of our preparation? Yup, that’s right: a second set of badger cufflinks — this one for my co-counsel! I emailed Leslie, she got to work immediately, finished them quickly, shipped them to me priority, and I got them 2 days before the court case. How could we lose with our “badgers” on our cuffs? Right, you got it: NO WAY. We both wore them for the first time that day. Total victory. Leslie is the “most best-est” badger cufflink fabricator on the whole internet. Really imaginative. Really accommodating. Really encouraging. Really resourceful. Really fun and professional. I’m on to dreaming up my next cufflink project to which she can apply her talents.

The badger is a great totem animal — read up on badgers. Loving and nurturing to those “insiders” and family within their zone of protection. Aggressive and tremendously ferocious when provoked by an attack from an outsider on a protected insider. I wanted some badger Cufflinks. So, I found a traced / outline image on the internet and sent it to Leslie. She cut a badger shape out of silver and then had custom Hell’s Canyon Jasper cabs cut by her friend. Mounted the cabs and added some oxidizing to give a bit of shading and texture. Added a special finding that I requested and love. I am overjoyed with another special creation from Leslie. So much so that I .... well read the next review on the second set she made for me.

Leslie took these existing Cufflinks for sale on her site and added a swivel finding to the back that I love. It keeps the post from bending or breaking when I put my meathook hands down on the keyboard tray. These findings swivel and don’t bend or break. Love the jasper on silver. Goes with white, blue and yellow. Very imaginative in her use of stones and materials. Have loved everything she’s made for me.
