Description

An impeccably styled suit from the 1930s with a masculine edge.

Black wool with a herringbone weave.

The jacket has a single button fastening and the skirt has hooks and studs.

The jacket is lined with Ivory silk crepe de chine.

Inside is a label 'buckland H1887' and the tailors label 'D. Williams & A. Moss (late Bradley's)'

The quality of both fabrics and workmanship is exceptional.

The suit is in good condition with a couple of points to note.
There are three tiny holes in a line rubbing parallel with the lapel (pictured)
There are two farms next to the skirt fastenings. These are just under the line of the hem of the jacket so pretty much concealed if the jacket and skirt are worn together.

One button is missing on one of the three button cuffs. They are plain black so easy to replace.

Two pin holes to suit lining

A small amount of faint underarm discolouration to lining.

Price reflects issues raised and the suit is strong and wearable.

Small size, note the hips

Jacket
14.75 inches across the shoulders
15 inches across the waist
17 inches pit to pit
17.5 inches across the hips

Skirt
13 inches across the waist
19 inches across the hips
29 inches waist to hem
