I created the sides of the terrarium from a savaged vintage recycled clear thick Beveled glass from a 1960's hanging lamp. The lamp was covered with a white mess of hardened goo that was left from a popcorn ceiling.

Description

Glass Terrarium, Planter, Home Decor, Indoor Garden Art, Recycled Beveled Glass, Diorama Container, Atrium, Conservatory, Greenhouse
A Beveled Glass Open End Terrarium Planter
This is my original design to set the stage for you to create your own growing environment, perfect to display an air plant, a mini biosphere, a unique landscape, diorama, fairy or moss garden, or just a display case for trinkets or crystals. The possibilities are endless.
I created the sides of the terrarium from a savaged vintage recycled clear thick Beveled glass from a 1960's/70's hanging lamp. The lamp was covered with a white mess of hardened goo that was left from a popcorn ceiling.
These Bevels have gorgeous engraved grooves in them.
The roof was created with 2 salvaged rectangle bevels and a metal moon man charm.
The bottom sides are thick beveled mirrors and are from the same lamp.
I left the front open for easy access and air flow.
All of the Bevels throw rainbow prisms around the room when the sun touches them. Just Beautiful!
This terrarium has a bit of weight to it.
I assembled it using the copper foil method and lead solder.
Patina was used to blacken the solder.
Roughly measures 7-1/2 inches high and 3-1/2 inches wide.
The planting depth is 1-1/4 inches deep.
*Sorry all the props I used in the pictures are Not included*
This listing is just for the glass terrarium
I designed the pattern for this, cut the dichroic glass, sanded it to perfection, then soldered together.

Beautiful piece, though I haven't been able to put it out in the pond yet since it's still very cold here! Also included in the package was a lovely homemade card.
