The Bi-visible fly has been around for many years and is a continual catch in many waters! It is a simulation of many insects, not representing any in particluar. It is best used when the fish are not a finicky eaters. I caught a trout using this fly on a day when they were PICKY eaters. Nothing was working for me, so I tried the Bi-visible, and sure enough, a catch!

To use the bi-visble, use a little floatant on the fly, and use a no-drag or dead drift in the water. This means to let it float without the fly generating any tiny waves. The trout will see "some kind of bug", and often times will go after it. The long history of this fly shows this as well.

The fly is made of a size 10 hook(about 1 inch), but can be made in other sizes. The front feather is usually white rooster cape feathers, and the back feather is usually rooster cape as well, but I have found saddle hackle feathers just as good, and like how they sink showing a struggling fly. Floatant can be put on these feathers as well.
