The purchase is for two of these hair pins. They're very pretty and hold the hair nicely. I had to straighten them though, as I found the bendy parts to not be very useful and made it hard to slide through the hair, but after it was straightened I really enjoy them! With only one is enough to hold the entire hair bun. Very beautiful pieces. Took a while to arrive I'm guessing due to COVID. The photo is before I straightened them.
