4 Vintage Silhouettes From An Estate Sale.

Very Unusual Theme.

Made In 1930's And Sent By "Social Progress" An Indiana Religious Group/charity To The "Biblical Seminary" In New York City.
Some Notes With These Said "of India".
Others From This Same Estate Are Listed And One Is Signed "Ray ??? ".

The Women In This Set Are Wearing Muslim Style Coverings And There Is A Mosque In The Background. My Guess Is That The Artist May Have Been A Missionary? Or Maybe Just Well Traveled.
Not Your Usual "Courting Scene" Theme.

Inside Cut Portions Are 2 1/2" By 3 1/2".
In Newer Frames :4 1/2" By 6"

In Excellent Condition With Very Mild Wear. These Were Stored Unframed So There Is Mild Oxidation Of The Paper.
