Description

Here is a fine etching called Taking Lessons. It is part of a story arc that follows a young man along the road to adult hood.

Published in 1821 as part of a book called Takings :Life of a Collegian by Richard Dagley. Etchings designed by the author.

The detailing is exceptionally fine. It also has a charming shadow image from the text on the facing page.

The reverse page also has a shadow image of the etching on the following page.

The printed page measures 6 by 9.5 inches printed on cream cotton fiber paper. It would fit in an 8 by 10 frame or larger.

The etching is available matted, matted and framed or by itself.
