Description

This is an exquisite cup and saucer.

Just what one would expect from Paragon.

It is a beautiful still life on fine china.
The theme is fruit: a lovely assortment of peaches, grapes and cherries, all surrounded by a wonderful black and gold intricate design. Of course there is gold trim. The interior is white with a fruit flourish you can enjoy while taking a sip of tea.
A wonderful cup for serving a fruit based tea.

It is from the 1950's and is by appointment to her Majesty the Queen. The royal warrant as it is called.
My grandmother always told me that if you are served tea in a tea cup with black on it while a guest, you will have a streak of good luck. Don't know if it's true since black cups are not common and no one served me tea in one. Here's a chance to try it out.

It is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips or crazing.

measurements: in inches
3.5 across the top, 2.5 high, saucer 5.5

What goes around, comes around.
Love of beauty and quality from the past is happiness.

shipping is standard post. Not so slow in North America, slow overseas. If you would like faster shipping please convo me. I will combine shipping more than one item for savings.
